Valued Friends & Clients,

Welcome to the 1st issue of my Desert Real Estate e-Newsletter for 2007! This season’s real estate sales activity should be hitting its stride as you receive this. With the Bob Hope Classic in full swing, this has traditionally been the real start to our seasonal market. The focus and exposure the desert area receives this week is tremendous.

In this month’s issue, I have found these interesting articles:

How Baby Boomers continue to drive the 2nd home market.

Learn that Mexico is fast becoming a very popular spot for the wealthy.
The extremely high price of London real estate. Up to $8,000 a square foot! That makes the desert properties seem like a bargain.
The 10 most expensive desert homes sold in 2006, according to Desert Area MLS data.
A home in Rancho Santa Fe currently on the market for $40 million.

While real estate sales in 2006 proved to be somewhat slower than the past 2 years, there were still a large number of homes sold, and the market seems to be headed towards stabilizing this year. I expect to see 2007 to be a bit better than 2006, but not to a great extent. Hopefully, the number of homes for sale under $1 million will continue to decrease, as there is still too large of an inventory in that price range.

Please take a few minutes and navigate through this newsletter to my website. I always appreciate and look forward to your comments. And, don’t hesitate to forward this to a friend.

Thank You for your confidence and for being an important part of my business. If you, or a friend, should have a real estate need, please give me a call!

Wishing you a Healthy and Prosperous 2007!

Best Regards,
Bruce
